New Look, New Address
Dear Faithful Readers,
As I recently informed you, EOU is no longer able to host my weblog. So I am trying out this company (Blogger.com) in order to continue my postings with a minimum of delay. I've decided to call my new blog "Lewis and Clark Trail Watch."
It will take me a short period to get used to the new procedures, so please be patient. If I don't like the results, there are many other companies out there and I will just experiment for a while. I'm not sure I will be able to easily reconstruct my past entries because I think they've been deleted from the EOU server.
I am getting ready to make another museum trip back east, this time to Kansas, Missouri, and the Ohio Valley. There are Lewis and Clark sites all along the Ohio River all the way to Pittsburgh, but I don't think I'll go that far. I've already written about the main one, the Falls of the Ohio at Louisville. The next "official" signature event is in Montana for the entire month of June and is centered on the Great Falls area. They may have a reenactment of the portage.
In the meantime, I am working on outlines for potential journal articles, and I also want to submit a few short articles to local magazines and/or newspapers in the various regions I have covered.
More soon!
